Meridian Baptist Church was formed as a mission in 1956 by people who loved and lived
in Meridian community. In 1969, we became a cooperating Southern Baptist church with a heart for our community, our
city, and our world.
Meridian has grown from a small sanctuary with two classrooms to its present facilities with
a beautiful sanctuary, multiple classrooms, a dedicated youth facility, a gym/dining hall, in all over 20,000 square feet.
Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow.
Our youth are led by Rev. Jeremy Garrett and his precious wife, Sarah.
They have Sunday worship, Wednesday worship and fellowship, and Thursday night devotion and fellowship. They are continually
going, doing, and serving. We are very proud of our youth department.
Our children are a true treasure.
We receive them as Jesus told us to, with open arms and a loving heart. Dave, Charlotte, Dawn, Ruth, Judy, Joy, Kerri,
Pat, Dave, along with numerous other volunteers have a love for children only rivaled by their love for Jesus. There
is no doubt about it, if your child ever attends one of our children's ministries like Kidz for Christ on Wednesday nights,
they will want to come back!
